How to Create a Price Estimate

The Price Estimate feature is designed to allow you to calculate the price of potential license order in the following situations: 
  1. You do not have the client added to your PartnerZone and just want to determine the price of a license
  2. Calculate Renewal pricing on a license that is not in your Partner Account
  3. Calculate Renewal pricing on a license when it's expiry is more than 3 months in the future
Important: The Price Estimate feature is not intended to replace the primary method of quotations. It is intended to give an estimate only and should not be considered a formal quotation. 

Price Estimate requires your User Account to have either of the following user permissions
  1. Create Quotes
  2. Place Orders


How to Create A Price Estimate Quote: New License

  1. At the top-left of the screen, click the arrow next to the New Order... button. 
  2. Choose Price Estimate from the menu. 

  3. Click Select a Product and choose an ESET Product to get New License Pricing. 
  4. Adjust license quantity, add discounts (if applicable)
  5. Pricing for 1,2, and 3 year Licenses will show below. Make a selection if you wish to generate an Estimate PDF. 
  6. Click Create Estimate to create a PDF. 
  7. A modal (pop-up) will appear
    1. Specify any relevant email recipients (these are optional)
    2. Enter your client name in the Order Reference field. 
    3. Click Create Estimate. 

How to Create A Price Estimate Quote: Renews

  1. At the top-left of the screen, click the arrow next to the New Order... button. 
  2. Choose Price Estimate from the menu. 

  3. Click on the Purchase Type dropdown and choose Renew
  4.  
  5. In order to calculate renewal pricing, we need the license.
    1. Search for it using the Public License ID (PLID). 
    2. You can search for any license even if it does not belong to your partner account. 
  6. After you have searched for the license in question: If desired, you can:
    1. Change quantity
    2. Change product
    3. Add discounts (if applicable)
    4. The system will calculate the renewal price according to these changes. 
  7. Pricing for 1,2, and 3 year Licenses will show below. Make a selection if you wish to generate an Estimate PDF. 
  8. Click Create Estimate to create a PDF. 
  9. A modal (pop-up) will appear
    1. Specify any relevant email recipients (these are optional)
    2. Enter your client name in the Order Reference field. 
    3. Click Create Estimate.
