How to Enlarge or Upgrade an existing License (same license expiry date)

Note: If you intend to renew a license, please do not use this Upgrade feature described below, rather use the Renew feature which also supports changes in License Quantity and Product.

The Upgrade feature assumes that you would like to increase the quantity and/or upgrade the product of an existing license whilst keeping the same expiry date. 

  1. Search for License: Use the Orders and Licenses Grid to find the license you wish to upgrade. Learn more about Searching For Orders and Licenses. 
    1. Click on the Grid Item to expand it and reveal the licenses attached to the order. 
    2. Click on the Upgrade button that corresponds to the license you wish to upgrade. This will take you to the Upgrade Review screen. 
      1. Upgrades can only be done on one license at a time. 
      2. The Upgrade button is also available inside the detailed order view (click View Order from the Orders and Licenses Grid). 
  2. Upgrade Review
    1. If you want to increase license quantity, enter in the total new quantity that you wish to achieve. 
    2. If you want to upgrade the product, click Change Product and choose the desired product to change to. 
    3. The pricing will be calculated pro-rata. 
  3. Process Order
    1. If you want to create a quote for your customers consideration, click Create Quote. Quotes can later be processed into Orders. 
    2. If you want to process the order immediately, click Place Order.
