How to Search for an Order or License

There are various ways to search for an order or license depending on what information you have available. All of these search options are available in the Orders and Licenses Grid and are detailed below. 
  1. Click on Orders and Licenses (main menu on the left) to enter the grid. 
    1. The Orders and Licenses Grid has an Advanced Search feature that allows the use of several filters. 
    2. These various filter options can be revealed by clicking inside the grid Search box. Click on any filter to select it. The system is also designed to automatically identify certain types of data when you paste them into the search box which helps to save time. 
    3. Each Order shown in the Grid can be expanded to show the licenses that are contained by the the order. Click on the Grid Item to toggle the expanded view. 
    4. Each Order has a detailed order view available. Click on View Order (button on the right) or the Order Number (on the left) to enter detailed order view. 
  2. Search by License Credential
    1. Enter a License Key (LKEY), Public License ID (PLID), or License Username (EAV-) into the Search box. The system will automatically filter appropriately and show all orders that contain the license credential that was provided. This includes past orders that may no longer be active or relevant today.
  3. Search by Order Number
    1. Enter an Order Number into the Search Box. The system will automatically suggest Order as a filter. Press enter to confirm and initiate the search. 
  4. Search by Customer Name
    1. Enter a Customer Name into the Search box. The system will automatically suggest Name as a filter. Press enter to confirm and initiate the search. 
  5. Search by Customer ID
    1. Enter a Customer ID into the Search box. The system will automatically suggest Customer ID as a filter. Press enter to confirm and initiate the search.
