How to Renew an Expiring License

Licenses can be renewed up to 3 months before they expire. If a license is renewed before it expires, the remaining days on the existing license will not be lost, they will be carried over to the renewed license. 
  1. Search for License/Order: Use the Orders and Licenses Grid to find the license or order you wish to renew. Learn more about Searching For Orders and Licenses. 
    1. Click on the Order Number to enter Single Order View (detailed order view). 
    2. In the detailed order view, click on Renew. This will take you to the Renew Review screen. 
  2. Renew Review
    1. All the licenses from the expiring order will be listed for renewal. You can remove certain license items if do not wish to renew them using the "trash" icon on the right.
    2. If you want to change the license quantity, enter in the total new quantity that you wish to achieve for each license.
    3. If you want to change the product, click Change Product and choose the desired product to change to. 
    4. Choose License Duration (1 Year, 2 Year, 3 Year). Multiple selections are allowed if you want to offer your customer more than one quotation for consideration. 
  3. Process Order
    1. If you want to create a quote for your customers consideration, click Create Quote. Quotes can later be processed into Orders. 
    2. If you want to process the order immediately, click Place Order. Note that this button is only available if a single License Duration is selected.
